I am new to the area and a first-time customer. I brought my car in for a regular oil change during my lunch break from work yesterday. I knew my car had a brake issue also, but I did not have the time to have that addressed that day so I did not mention it. However they noticed the brake issue, physically showed it to me and explained exactly what was causing the problem. They let me borrow their loaner car so I could return to work and have that fixed the same afternoon as well, which was a nice surprise. My car drives smoothly now and I am very glad I could get that all taken care of so quickly.

I agree with the poor reviews of Auto Care..Not only is Leon outstandingly rude with poor customer services, the car mechanics who work there are also greatly lacking in auto mechanic skills. Avoid this car repair business at all cost.

My previous experience with Scott has been great. I have been taking my car to this shop occasionally for several years. However, my recent interaction with his current staff has been, to say the least, disappointing. A manager named Leon was particularly rude and thoroughly unprofessional. I had requested services for transmission and fluid change that day. After the staff performed the service, I noticed that the transmission fluid was filled to 4 quarts. I was afraid that this was overfilled and so I brought up my concern. They checked my SUV and said that there wasn’t any issue with the level of transmission fluid. Despite my request to pay additional services --- for a drain and fill, and a possible transmission filter installment --- to correct the issue, the manager, Leon, refused to provide me services and rudely kicked me out of the shop. So, I went to another local mechanic, Haggan Tire, without informing the master mechanic there of my concern about the transmission fluid. However, immediately, he indicated that the transmission fluid was overfilled. This seems be a lesson in “car mechanics 101”. Yet, Leon and his staff were not only lacking in expertise, they couldn’t even locate the transmission filter initially. They reek not only of poor customer service, but also of poor basic technical knowledge. My SUV could have been overfilled and damaged. They denied their mistake and treated me disrespectfully, refusing me service and kicking me out. It’s a shame. Avoid this place like the plague and spend your money elsewhere.

Pat, first off I would like to apologize that our service did not meet your standards. I feel there are two sides to this certain incident. On Saturday when you called we were short handed and very busy however I chose to accommodate you anyway. We replaced the outer tie rods and transmission fluid with parts that you supplied us (a lot of places will not use customer supplied parts). We did miss the transmission filter however when you stopped back to show me I set you up with appointment on Wednesday and told you I would replace it at no charge as we missed it. Also you requested the transmission fluid be changed twice which we did and I was kind enough to only charge you for one service rather than twice. As per the transmission fluid being over full I do not believe that. Two of my technicians checked it and tell me it was perfectly at the full mark. One of these technicians happens to be a 10 year Honda technician who is master certified. I am informed also you were brought into the shop so you could physically see the fluid level on the transmission dipstick. Also between the four of us that work in the garage we have done hundreds of these services. Again we are sorry that we could not meet your service standards, but I feel we did everything possible to correct the situation.
